• Lake Jackson Intermediate Panther Choir Our mission is ............to develop individual potential as far as possible in the use of music as a means of self-expression and cummunication. In order to achieve this, we will participate to the best of our abilities in all aspects of the school experience. We will give the best of ourselves individually so that we as a whole may be able to help each other attain the highest level of performance. 

         We have four performing choirs: 

• HONOR CHOIR -- Our top level choir of mixed voices. It is a very select group that will have additional; performance responsibilities through the course of the school year.
• TREBLE CLEFS -- This is the advanced treble or girls choir. This group is selected each year through audition. They will perform more challenging literature and may have extra perfomances as well.
• MEN'S CHOIR -- This is an auditioned group of tenor-bass/male singers. The purpose of the class is to give the male of the species an opportunity to deal with the challenges of a changing voice in a less threatening atmosphere.
• TREBLE CHOIR -- This is our entry level women's choir. They are also auditioned and perform on every major concert of the year.
  
  All of our choirs are award winning groups, They have consistently won numerous trophies and honors at competitions for the last twenty plus years. We are very proud of our tradition of excellence.
